Understand all the different RS versions
Let’s start the article by saying that each version of the Twingo RS shares the same 1.6 engine with 133 hp and 160 nm: there are no differences in terms of mechanics
Twingo RS Sport
The sport suspension version features 16-inch wheels and higher, softer suspension than the Cup version.
Twingo RS Cup and Twingo RS with Cup equipment
A distinction must be made: there are in fact two Cup versions; however, both have 17-inch wheels and springs that are 4 mm lower and 10% stiffer than the Sport. How to distinguish sport suspensions from cup ones? Those cups have a purple dot behind:
The Twingo RS Cup has the bench behind it, has no air conditioning and electric windows and no blacked-out rear windows. This is why it weighs about 50 kg less.
The Twingo RS with Cup trim (called in England full fat Cup) instead has all the comforts and more trim and Cup rims. We therefore have, among other things, tinted windows and separate seats behind.
Twingo RS Gordini
Version sold in blue or black with white stripes. It comes standard with many options, in addition to the Cup package, such as the leather seats with the Gordini logo, the aluminum gear knob and the double-colored wheels.
The black version is very rare.
Note: it appears that some Gordinis had 17 inch wheels with Sport suspension.
Twingo RS Light
A Twingo RS Cup sold at a lower price for those who had to convert it to R1 / R2 from Rally.
Twingo RS Silverstone
Made in obly 50 units and only for the English market, the Silverstone features black details (rims, mirrors, fog lamp covers, spoiler) and the expensive stainless steel exhaust from Renault (but produced by Orbisound) with double exit pipe.
Twingo RS Red Bull Racing RB7
Another special version with specific color and 17-inch wheels as standard.

Twingo RS Liquid Yellow PH2
This color was available for phase 2, but came at a high price. For this reason it is a rare color.
